Senior Director/Vice President of Latin America Sales
Location: Miami, FL
The Senior Director/Vice President of Latin America is an innovative sales executive who can rapidly expand and deliver successful sales results, and be an inspirational leader who can partner and leverage well internally and externally in order to close more business for Wyse. This position will have primary responsibility for development of the company's Latin America new business development and sales, ensuring the achievement of quarterly sales goals. New business development and sales growth will be of significant importance. This position will cover all of Latin America. While the position is home office based, there will be significant travel required throughout the region. The ideal candidate should preferably reside in Miami.
Major Accountabilities
The Senior Director/Vice President of Latin America Sales will drive the development and execution of new business and existing business growth and penetration by:
- Working closely with the current team and partners to develop and launch long term strategic sales and marketing initiatives
- Identifying and making sales calls on targeted C-level executives within Latin America and key partners
- Develop and grow the teams to meet the company sales goals and objectives
- Mentoring and leading the current staff; leveraging their individual strengths
- Successfully translating business requirements into team deliverables
- Assisting Sales teams in representing the company through key market visits, presentations, and sales prospecting
- Assuring proper on-going account and channel management
- Participating in negotiating contracts, pricing and terms
Job Requirements
- Ten (10) plus+ years of Latin American sales and marketing management experience required
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional demonstrated consultative sales skills. Ability to craft a solution with services that meet business goals based on client discussions
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle
- Proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision makers
- Demonstrated experience directly leading sales teams, with an impeccable ability to impact and influence through a collaborative approach
- An effective, persuasive speaker and writer who can communicate effectively with both internal client management and external client groups
- A self-starter, confident in his/her ability, self-motivated and able to work effectively with little supervision
- Responsible to generate significant sales growth yearly
- Ability to be flexible in your schedule
- Frequent travel required
- Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
- Experience with Desktop Virtualization and Cloud Computing (highly desirable)
