Getting the Bundled Wyse Device Manager, Version 4.7 Workgroup License

Getting your Wyse Device Manager (WDM), version 4.7 Workgroup license is easy! Simply follow the steps below to get your license. Your Wyse thin client must have been purchased after October 15, 2007 to qualify for a bundled Wyse Device Manager, version 4.7 Workgroup license. If you have Wyse thin clients that do not qualify for the bundled license please contact your Wyse Sales Representative or your Wyse Authorized Reseller to purchase a license for your terminals.

Getting your Wyse Device Manager, version 4.7 Workgroup license:

When installed, WDM Workgroup Edition provides up to 750 unactivated seat licenses for a 30-day trial period. To activate the full license for WDM Workgroup Edition, simply highlight and double click on the license within WDM and follow the link. An activation code will be emailed and the ability to manage up to 750 Wyse thin clients will be present.

1. To activate the license, launch WDM, expand "Configuration Manager"
2. Highlight "Licensing" and double click on the license in the right pane
3. A dialog box will appear with the Sale Key, Unactivated key and a link to a web site
4. Click on the link and fill in the information
5. Cut and paste the Sale Key and Unactivated Key into the fields
6. For the Security Certificate field, input an uppercase "B"
7. An Activation Code will be returned
