The Wyse Viance Desktop Appliance is specifically designed for the new Citrix XenDesktop™ product line. These new devices from Wyse will greatly enhance end-user acceptance of desktop virtualization with ease of use and set-up, high performance, rich multimedia experience, quick access to online end-user support and a sleek design.
In addition, these appliances only use 13 to 19 watts of power making them a very "green" solution. Exceptional video quality is delivered because multimedia is decoded locally on the device using the local processing power. This gives IT the granular control over what USB peripherals are allowed and no drivers are ever needed on these appliances.

Wyse Device Manager (WDM), version 4.7 is now ready. With the industry’s most secure, comprehensive set of IT management features, WDM v4.7 sets the bar for the state-of-the art thin client management.
Wyse has added significant new security features to Wyse Device Manager 4.7 to increase the protection of customers' IT infrastructures. Designed to meet the highest levels of security requirements for networks carrying financial transactions including the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Device Manager 4.7 is fully encrypted for network traffic and offers secure device management features including self-signed HTTPS Certificate Authentication, secure imaging through HTTPS, and imaging through HTTP/FTP.
