Wyse's Support for RemoteFX Designed To Be the Best Rich Media Experience for VDI Environments Across All Endpoints Accessing Windows Server 2008 R2 On March 18th, in agreement with Microsoft, Wyse announced, that current and future client devices will support Microsoft’s newly announced RemoteFX technology. Microsoft RemoteFX is an extension to the current RDP protocol to enable a rich media experience in VDI deployments based on Hyper-V as well as Citrix XenDesktop when deployed with Hyper-V. The integration of Microsoft RemoteFX with Wyse devices helps to increase remote worker efficiency, by quickly and securely connecting remote workers with the applications they need through a simple connection. These remote workers will have the equivalent of a PC experience, but with none of the management or security liabilities inherent in personal computers.
